The company has been promoting this product to be perfect for the home. However, I really think it’s best for in the office. I’m saying this as a person who loves to try new coffee beans and brew different flavors at home. That being said, Tassimo is expanding its flavoring and introducing new coffee brands to the family. Again, back to my original point, if you are running a small business, it’s definitely worth the investment to get this coffee machine. Plus, your staff will likely to the dance of joy.
“Life is too short to drink bad coffee.” Don’t you agree?
I’ve worked in many offices where the coffee was terrible that I was always on the constant coffee run. I’ve also been at a company where they had a cheap coffee machine, and somehow I’d have to make the coffee every morning. But by the time I got my computer turned on and everything settled, my fellow colleagues would get their java fix but no more coffee left more me. Yup, I wasn’t pleased.
It makes perfect sense to use the Tassimo T55 in the office. Here’s why:
- No more time spent on who’s responsible for coffee duty everyone
- No need to worry about filters
- Don’t need to worry about coffee grounds being spilled or (worse) poured into the sink.
- Don’t need to worry about coffee spillage on counter tops (and no one taking responsibility for cleaning it).
The Tassimo T55 is stylish and looks professional in a company’s kitchen or common area. It’s pretty compacted so it won’t take up a significant amount of counter top space.
Even though, the Tassimo T55 is VERY simple to use, I did witness a rigid personality. The machine likes to follow a routine, and you had to obey to these steps:
1) Flip the switch and turn on the Tassimo
2) Place the T DISC into the barcode home base (more on this technology later)
3) Close the lid
4) Press the button for the brewing to begin.
Seems straightforward, right? Well, if you deviated from this order, then it becomes a gamble on whether or not the coffee will brew. Many times, I would put the T DISC in first and close the lid, THEN turned on the ‘on’ switch, and the T55 didn’t like it. So, I obey by the above routine. Then again, the process takes about 10 seconds to redo (no sweat).
Tassimo uses a patented barcode technology for it to read the type of brew. The barcode holds information about the quantity and temperature of the water needed, as well as the brewing time. Interested in learning more, check out the video below.
But, if you find that one or more of the coffee pods are not working, wipe down the barcode reader. If that doesn’t
