The Samsung SP-H03 LED Pico Projector is proof that good things do come in small packages.  Measuring at 2.75" x 1.5" x 2.75", this pint-sized projector boasts a microSD slot (up to 16GB), a strap-on battery that'll last two hours, a 30-lumen LED DLP that fires off a 28-inch-diagonal image and an itty bitty 1watt speaker for media presentations.  Weighing less than a smartphone, the SP-H03's 1 GB internal memory allows users to load content directly to the device with seamless, built-in multimedia playback without being tethered to a computer allowing you to easily share photos, videos and, of course, presentations. The idea of having a high-def projector that you can take anywhere has pretty wide appeal, and the SP-H03 is a serious attempt at satisfying that want.

Setup is fairly straightforward. Find a wall at least three feet away, either connect the projector to a video source or use the touchscreen to navigate the internal memory, and hit play.  It's that easy.  Audio isn't the best (this isn't a home theatre system), but there's a 3.5mm jack for connecting something more substantial.

This tiny projector supports roughly 20 video, music and image files as well as Microsoft Office Suite formats. It also has a decent variety of inputs: VGA, composite, USB or SD. The LED will likely outlast the device, so you shouldn't have to ever replace a bulb.

Unfortunately, the SP-H03 won't play some popular file types, like .mov, which definitely limits your options. In addition, it needs more modern cabling options -- you've got a simple composite input available with an adapter, but the lack of HDMI or DVI makes it decidedly less compatible with more modern devices.

Overall, the SP-H03's portability and input/playback options prove it to be a must-have and at $300 the device is a total steal.  Sure, it may have its limitations and it's certainly not groundbreaking, but this quick, simple gadget packs quite a punch considering its small size.

No HDMI? I have to say as cute as this is, that's a bit of a dealbreaker...
