Maybe this shouldn't come as a surprise, seeing as how Bethesda's massive titles have always been riddled with pesky bugs, but if you own a PlayStation 3 copy of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim these bugs could be a bigger burden than imagined. A PS3 save file glitch has caused incredibly slow framerates, environment texture load problems, friendly dragons and "occasional performance issues after longterm play" (as stated on Bethesda's blog).  These are only some of the many problems, which I have fully outlined below, but Bethesda has tended to them with Patch v1.2.

This patch is now available in both North America and Europe.  While these bugs have been a problem for some, Bethesda has still deemed them "rare" so they probably weren't as wide-spread as some may imagine. It should also go without saying that Skyrim probably has many more bugs that may or may not be tended to -- you can't really blame the guys, considering how massive the game really is. All we can hope for are less major issues and more of Bethesda's diligent support.

If you are an Xbox 360 or PC owner, those issues apparently didn't hit as hard, but a patch is still being made to smooth over some other problems on those systems.  That patch will be available this Wednesday, November 30.

Check out the full v1.2 notes below, courtesy of the Bethesda Blog:
