MTV Games and Harmonix were showing off Rock Band 3 at the recent PS3
Holiday Event held at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, and I
talked with Cam Curran of MTV Games to find out what we could expect
from the game when it’s released Oct 26th.
Beyond possible exclusive guitar colours on the PS3, he talks about
how the Wii should have most functional parity with the PS3 and Xbox 360
versions, though how downloadable tracks will be handled on the
Nintendo console is still not finalized. While on the subject of DLC,
pro guitar tracks will be more expensive, given the additional time it
takes to convert the stereo masters into the game playable format.
