Just a few weeks ago, Canadians were introduced to The House of Marley, a brand created by reggae legend, Bob Marley’s family. On this particular occasion, the Marley family, Future Shop and HoMedics – the CE partner of The House of Marley – congregated in Toronto, ON for the official House of Marley launch headphones launch events. You may have heard about the launch, through media coverage like this story.
Day one consisted of a VIP dinner with the Marleys, followed by an invite-only party to showcase and tell The House of Marley story. Day two was focused on media, with Bob Marley’s son, Rohan Marley, taking centre stage to speak with morning news shows and appear at Future Shop’s flagship store in downtown Toronto at Yonge and Dundas Streets.
In between all the excitement at the media launch, the Marleys were extremely accommodating to me for one-on-one interviews to discuss everything from connections to Canada, NCAA and CFL football, 1Love.org and music careers.

The headphones lineup of The House of Marley is banging. Each model has been made of sustainable materials – right to the packaging and the sound quality from both the earbuds and headphones is excellent. The price points are reasonable too, ranging from $39.99 to about $200.
