Josh Byer is a journalist, copywriter, and creative consultant residing in Vancouver, BC. His clients include Brightlight Pictures, CBC, Cinetel / The SyFy Network, and Keystone Entertainment. His prose has appeared in over a hundred publications, including The Canadian University Press, Contemporary Verse 2, Espionage Magazine, McClelland & Stewart, The Ottawa Citizen, Southam News, Slot Tech, Time and Space, Victory Square Publications, and The Yale Record. A Journey Prize nominee, he is also the winner of a Praxis Story Editor Internship, and a grant recipient of the Canada Council for the Arts. In his spare time, he illustrates for several magazines and prospects for gold.
