What does your iPad desktop look like?

I think one measure of how people use a device like an iPhone, iPad or Android device is looking at their "homescreen". What's the default that greats you? Looking at my homescreen (and I have several pages of more apps, mind you) can give you some insight into how I use the device. Looking at the suggestions from WebWorkerDaily you can see that I follow a similar path as they do.I know that I'm not even an "edge case" in how I use my iPad, since I use DropBox just like the example from MakeUseOf.

One thing that you should notice is while I don't have YouTube or videos on my homescreen I do have three games. Games are important. They can give you a moment of peace in amid the craziness around you. Also, yes, I have jailbroken my iPad so I can using apps in the background. Will I  abandon this when iOS4 comes out for the iPad? Maybe, I'll have to see. Backgrounding and app switching is the only thing I'm using right now, so a wipe and refresh might just be fine with me.

So the apps on my screen? Here they are:

  • Dock: Life Browser (a new Safari alternative), Mail, Instapaper Pro, Kobo HD (books), TweetDeck, Penultimate
  • Top row: 1Password Pro, WordPress, App Store, Settings
  • Second row: Calendar, Gmail (browser shortcut), Techmeme (browser shortcut) iPod
  • Third row: DropBox, ReaddleDocs (file browser), Twitterific, Pages
  • Fourth row: Keynote, Weather HD, Scrabble, Words (with Friends) HD
  • Fifth row: Harbor Master (HD), iThoughtsHD (for mindmapping), Simplenote (it syncs with Notational Velocity on my desktop), Reeder (Google Reader client).

Now it's your turn … what does your homescreen look like?
