Woo hoo: Future Shop drops price of World of Warcraft Cataclysm to $39.99
Great news for gamers and holiday gift buyers in pursuit of getting their paws on World of Warcraft: Cataclysm: Future Shop today announced the lowering pricing of the regular edition game to only $39.99. That's a phenomenal deal when looking back to past pricing of the World of Warcraft series that typically sold for much more than that. If you've preordered at a higher price, no worries, you'll be getting the game at the new pricing.
In speaking with Future Shop's Tim Balay, senior merchandise manager of gaming at Future Shop, here's what he had to say about this fantastic news:
"We’re thrilled to offer one of the hottest games selling this holiday at an unbelievable price of $39.99. Future Shop is a leader in the gaming category in Canada and we’re proud to offer customers the best value proposition when it comes to price or used gaming trade-in values.”
Well put, Tim.
And here's something else to get excited about with the release of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. Future Shop is hosting national Midnight Madness launch events on December 6, 2010. Details will be shared this Friday on Futureshop.ca.
Game on!
