The launch of Nintendo's Wii U is a historic one. Not only will we be seeing Nintendo games in HD for the first time, it's also the first Nintendo console to launch with a new Mario title in 16 years. Seriously, no joke. Back in 1996, Nintendo launched the N64 with Super Mario 64. Sure we've Mario titles since then, but not coinciding with a console launch. Well friends, the wait is over.

Google even lets you manually update your firmware to the latest Jelly Bean build and enjoy all those features before the over-the-air update rolls out to you. That option is only viable for GSM Galaxy Nexus owners, but if you’ve got a Nexus 7 you’re good to go.

One of my favorite aspects of PC gaming is how extreme you can take things. You can really push the limits and create a setup thats amazingly immersive. Sure, you could just click away on the usual keyboard and mouse but if you really want to you can build yourself a complete, hardcore simulation cockpit battlestation. There's really nothing like it, and can be as much fun to set up to your liking as it is to actually use to play games.

Its easy to say that we’re living in the digital age and proclaim the dawn of the paperless office but for many, there is simply no substitute for a good pen and paper. Whether in lectures, meetings, or even just a coffee shop, you can’t beat the 1:1 tactile interface and visceral feeling of putting pen to paper. Its what a lot of people are used to and most comfortable with, great for efficient and distraction free note taking.

With the Wii U's release only days away, there are still a few more third-party ports I didn't have a chance to tell you about. With the help of the innovative new Gamepad, playing these games will be unlike anything you've experienced yet.

With the enormous range of headphone brands on the market today, it might be a little jarring figuring out which ones to look out for.
