The new Apple TV has received much less fanfare as the new iPad. Both were released 3 weeks ago, and while you may be constanly craving the new iPad, the new Apple TV will offer an equally jaw dropping experience, for much less money.
Here's a review of the new Apple TV.
We’ve seen them before with small sizes and high prices but this year OLED TVs are set to make a big splash with several reasonably priced large screen HDTVs using the technology hitting shelves this year from both Samsung and LG. Lets take a closer look at this exciting display technology and run down why its getting so much attention.

With many HDTV screens creeping up to 80-inches in diameter, are home cinema projectors still as desirable? We tested the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 3010, available from Future Shop for $1749.99 and made it the centre of our home theatre system, here's what we found out.

My fellow bloggers, Elliott and Buzz, have weighed in with their thoughts from CES 2012 in Las Vegas, and what they see as the big factors for the next 12 months until we do it all over again. Yesterday was the last day for analog broadcast in Canada - most broadcasters are switching to digital broadcasts for over the air broadcast
While most of us have switched to flat panel tvs and have high definition boxes, pvrs and gadgetry for our cable subscription, 10% of Canadians were still getting local tv over the air - for free.

If you have an older ‘tube’ TV and you’re watching television from an over-the-air rooftop antenna or a pair of analog ‘rabbit ears’, you’ve only got two days left to go digital. After that, you’ll only see snow on your screen. But if you have an HDTV with a built-in digital tuner (which they pretty much all have) and a digital antenna, then you’ve already made the move to digital. Or, if you have an old TV and a digital converter box, you’re also good to go.
If you are a Facebook user and if you have Telus Optik TV at home, here's a neat little announcement from Telus. Telus Optik TV users can now view Facebook from their TVs! So now you can get your Facebook crave while watching TV, you can Like or Dislike shows that you're watching and more.
VHS. Cassette decks. Record players. Video stores.
If the nail hadnt been drilled down all the way with the likes of Netflix and On Demand services from cable companies, the release of the Apple TV further hammers the point home that when it comes to getting entertainment into your home on your tv, you no longer need to drive to the video store to make it happen.
