If you’ve ever felt your iPad was missing more of a booming audio presence, Belkin is looking to scratch that itch with its Thunderstorm case, which the company says is “the first handheld home theatre” for the tablet. With a hard, tight-fitting design, and stereo speakers along the side, the Thunderstorm also features the ability to direct the audio out to you depending on if you’re watching alone or with someone else.

Tablets and gaming should go hand-in-hand and Razer will be coming out with a gaming tablet that should be an interesting proposition for any gamer. Fusing together elements of a tablet, PC and game console, the Edge is basically the tablet equivalent of what a gaming PC is.

Asus’ Transformer line is made up of tablets, but the company will be launching a desktop all-in-one PC with an 18.4-inch display that literally detaches from its base stand. When mounted, the PC runs on Windows 8, but when detached it becomes an oversized tablet running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Asus will be launching Taichi, a convertible Windows PC laptop that has two screens whereby what you’re doing can be mirrored over to the display on the back. Close the lid and the Taichi becomes a full-on Windows tablet.

If you have Pioneer’s AppRadio 2 head unit installed in your car — and you own an iPhone 5 or latest iPod Touch — then you may have been suffering from a lack of functionality because of the move from the 30-pin connector to the new Lightning one Apple developed. Pioneer is finally coming out with a fix for this and you can expect to see it in a matter of weeks.

One thing that seems to transcend the show this year is that just about every screen on every type of device is getting bigger. The most obvious on the computer side is probably Lenovo’s IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC, the company’s first “interpersonal PC”, which lets you lay it flat on almost any surface and have two people use it at the same time.
