Even though you may think that spring cleaning is a chore and would prefer to sit on your couch for a House of Cards marathon, there are many benefits you’ll gain from uncluttering your space.

Speaking of changing the clock and daylight savings ...

It's that time of the year...again. You ask: "What time is it?” It's that terrible time of year when we lose an hour of our precious sleep.

REMEMBER: this Sunday, the 9th of March at 2 A.M. we push it forward to 3 A.M...all of Canada except: Saskatchewan (except Denare Beach and Creighton), Fort St. John, Charlie Lake, Taylor, Dawson Creek and Creston in the East Kootenays of BC.

I don't know about you, but I love my sleep. One of my most favourite feelings is the realisation that, when I wake up at 5 o'clock in the morning and look at my alarm clock, I can sleep for another hour or (if I'm lucky) hour and a half. Bliss. But how in the world would I ever experience that without my clock? Nowadays a clock is almost like an entrainment centre and there's something for everyone. You doubt that? Let's take a look...

Design & Create Your Own Stylish Master Bedroom

by Blogger on ‎02-17-2014 06:05 PM - last edited on ‎02-19-2014 11:57 AM by Blog Editor in Chief

For many of us, the Master Bedroom is the last room in the house to be fully decorated and furnished. This may be owing to the fact that it's probably the least likely room to be shown to our visitors, so maybe it's the safest room to leave undecorated when furnishing our homes. In any case, I have recently learned that February is Bedroom Month. Who knew? It probably has something to do with Valentine's Day. So maybe now's the time to finally finishing decorating the one room that we spend more time in than any otherthe master bedroom. If you'd like a few suggestions on just how to accomplish this goal, click through and read my blog!

New Year’s Resolution: Get Organized

Getting organized for 2014

When it comes to New Year’s resolutions, three things come to mind:

(1) Lose weight;

(2) Stop smoking, and

(3) Get organized.

Let’s focus on the third option. Are you ready to get organized for 2014? It’s time. Remember, organization doesn’t get completed in one fell swoop.  Think of it as a muscle that needs to be practiced and strengthened all year around.  When it comes to organization it’s not just our closet: there is also the kitchen, tax season, a garage filled with the unknown, kids going back to school, and then it’s winter holidays. My apologies in advance if I am making you nervous about those heavy tasks but let’s aim to find a simple solution that will bring you a new way of living.

Sealy Mattress from Review

Sealy Mattress Posturepedic PROBACK - front.jpg

There are some things in life that I consider priceless, and getting a good night's sleep is definitely one of them. Waking up in the morning fully refreshed is crucially important for me, since it helps keep me energized and maintains my momentum for the remainder of the day. A variety of factors contribute to a restful sleep, but the most essential is having a mattress that's right for you. With so many options out there though, it can be daunting to know where to start.

This fall I decided it was finally time to upgrade my mattress. I did my research and had decided on a Sealy Posturepedic Mattress, when I received an email from Future Shop to consider writing a review of one of their mattresses: I would be allowed to choose which one and order it so I could evaluate the whole process in my article. I wasn’t even aware that Future Shop delivered mattresses so I did some preliminary research into the purchase, delivery and installation process for mattresses through, and the process seemed convenient and straightforward (more on this later in the article). I had also had positive past experiences shopping online through, but never for something as big as a mattress. I placed the order and couldn’t wait to see the result.
