Ubisoft is back with another entry in its increasingly popular Far Cry series. This time around Far Cry 4 takes us to the fictional Himalayan nation of Kyrat, a land embroiled in civil war and teeming with well-armed soldiers, mercenaries, freedom fighters, and vicious wildlife for good measure. Did I mention you can ride an elephant? What are you waiting for?!

Review: Disney Fantasia Music Evolved will make you feel like a real magical sorcerer

by Blogger ‎12-10-2014 07:58 PM - edited ‎12-10-2014 08:25 PM

There came a point during my time with Fantasia: Music Evolved where I felt like Mickey from Disney’s Fantasia, and that moment was pure magic. With just my hands I was directing music, as elegantly and freely as Mickey did when he donned Yen Sid’s iconic crescent moon and star-laden sorcerer’s hat. Fantasia: Music Evolved is like nothing I’ve ever played before, it’s innovative, it’s exhilarating, and it’s Xbox One’s first must-own Kinect game.

Skylanders Trap Team - Snap Shot and Food Fight.jpg

We're used to bringing our toys to life in past Skylanders video games, but this year's version is doing just the opposite―transporting video game characters into the real-world! In Skylanders Trap Team, you can use the all-new Traptanium Portal to capture villains, and then have them fight alongside your Skylanders. It's fun, it's innovative, and it's the best Skylanders game to date!

After nearly two years since the Japanese release, Fantasy Life from acclaimed development studio Level-5, has finally arrived on North American shores. This unique Nintendo 3DS role-playing game lets you choose your own life to lead, from traditional classes like Paladin or Magician, to more unconventional jobs like a Miner or Wood Cutter. Do you want to become the most legendary fighter in history? Or perhaps become world-renowned in a specific skilled trade? These life paths, and many more, can be yours in Fantasy Life!

Gaming keyboards are a very interesting category. On one hand they’re keyboards, so you don’t want some things to be somewhat standardized in order to give you versatility, and have it conform to your expectations. On the other hand you want it to have high performance and deliver unique and powerful features to help you take your gaming to the next level. This is a balancing act that Logitech has a long history in managing with many PC gaming accessories throughout the years. I had the opportunity to spend some time with their latest offering – the G910 Orion Spark mechanical gaming keyboard to see if it could live up to Logitech’s strong pedigree in this department.

Review: The Evil Within brings back that scary, survival-horror feel

by Blogger ‎11-29-2014 11:04 PM - edited ‎11-29-2014 11:22 PM

As someone who’s been able to stomach the most spine-chilling of horror games, I have to admit The Evil Within really got to me. The game feels like an intense, abstruse, and gruesome sequel to Resident Evil 4, which makes sense since both games were led by famed game director Shinji Mikami. I enjoyed The Evil Within overall, but be warned, there’s absolutely nothing congenial about this game at all; it is literally, your worst fears fully realized and made frighteningly interactive.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Techland are getting ready to unleash a new action survival-horror game with Dying Light, coming this January to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. All pre-orders online on, and in-store at Future Shop locations, will receive the exclusive 'Be the Zombie' mode. Online orders will also get two free outfits to give your character unique looks that differentiate them from other players in the game. Come check out what this exciting new game has to offer!

Review - Assassin's Creed Rogue, it's an icy good time.

 Assassin's Creed Rogue Title.jpg

For the first time in the history of the series, Assassin’s Creed Rogue sees the player leave the assassins, to side with what we thought was the enemy. Sea shanties, bar room brawls, swashbuckling, icebergs and much more await in the North Atlantic seas.

Assassin's Creed Unity Arno Leap.jpg

Ubisoft's annualized Assassin's Creed franchise has made its first current-gen exclusive appearance with Assassin's Creed: Unity. Set against the backdrop of the French Revolution, players take on the role of assassin Arno Dorian as he attempts to solve the murder of his adoptive father. Large crowds, stunning environments, and revamped navigational mechanics are just a few of the best reasons to take Unity's immersive journey into stunning revolution-era Paris.
