Danganronpa 2 Goodbye Despair - logo.jpg

Danganronpa on PlayStation Vita is a game series that flew under my radar earlier this year when the first game, Trigger Happy Havoc, released in February. After spending weeks playing through the sequel, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, it was such a great experience that I immediately picked up the original game to fill in the backstory of this thoroughly engaging narrative. If you’re an adult that enjoys captivating visual novels and own a PS Vita, then Danganronpa 2 is absolutely a must-play adventure.

Review: Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Looks good and plays great!

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Title.jpg

I have always liked how competitive fighting games get so many sequels and definitive editions. Players need to feel them out a bit and developers get to make tweaks, adjustments or even introduce new characters. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax not only brings back many of the Persona 3 and 4 characters it also offers an amazing improvement on a great fighting game.

Take one look at the PlayStation TV's feature list and you're bound to be impressed: the ability to play over 700 PlayStation game titles out of the box, access TV, movie, and music media via online apps, steam your PS4 games to other TVs in your home with Remote Play, and full access to Sony's video game streaming rental service, PlayStation Now. All this from a device no bigger than a deck of cards and very reasonably priced. It's an offer, on paper, that seems hard to pass up.

Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare Title.jpg

No matter how you look at it the casual gaming market is getting bigger and is becoming one of the more sought after demographics in gaming. The mobile industry is basically a casual gaming battle ground fought by games like Candy Crush Saga, Clash of Clans, Game of War, Cut The Rope and the list goes on. One game that made a huge splash on the mobile market was Plants Vs Zombies by EA. A rather light hearted take on the tower defense genre, where one must protect their garden from the incoming waves of zombies. Now this was a good game for a more casual market but when EA showed off their latest instalment in the series, for the console market, Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, hardcore gamers started taking note and for a good reason. So lock and load that peashooter, its time to defend the garden!

Review: Metro Redux, back to the Moscow underground.

by Guest Blogger on ‎09-25-2014 11:22 AM - last edited on ‎09-25-2014 01:33 PM by Blog Editor in Chief

 Metro Redux Title.jpg

Now post apocalyptic settings have been commonplace in video games for quite some time now. Many of us, have ventured the wastelands in the Fallout series. I myself have easily spent over 200 hundred hours there throughout all the games in the franchise. Games like Darksiders take a much more fantastical approach, with all the burnt out cars and destroyed building still present, giving us the feel and look of Earth after the apocalypse. Many more games have done this idea in numerous ways, Half-Life 2, STALKER, Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, The Walking Dead, LEFT4DEAD and the list goes on. Out of all these numerous titles one game series has always stood out to me, with it’s unmatched narrative and a setting which one could deem quite possible, simply called Metro and with Metro Redux, its time to go back to the Moscow underground.
