If you’re looking for a new case for your iPad or iPad mini, you’ll be hard pressed to find an option much better than one of the Logitech cases. While they do tend to have options ranging from inexpensive to premium level, they are all fairly well built with attention to materials and detail so you know you can count on them unlike some other off-brand alternatives. I’ve always been a pretty big fan of Logitech’s products and their iPad cases are certainly no exception.

One of the first complaints we heard about the iPad was decrying the lousy speaker setup. It faces the wrong way, and has tinny sound with low volume. If your audio experience is really important to you, then the Belkin Thunderstorm can help solve that issue once and for all. It transforms the iPad into a great mobile cinematic home theatre experience, perfect for movies and games.

I had the opportunity to get to know the new Kobo Aura HD eReader and really spend some time getting a good feel for the device. When it was first announced it certainly looked like a premium level eReader device but now I can confidently say that it’s certainly the nicest E-ink device I’ve ever used.

If you own an iPad, the two best accessories you can get to enhance your experience are a case, and a keyboard. I have recently been spending some time with the ZAGGkeys PROfolio+ Keyboard for second, third and fourth generation iPads. Not only does this accessory give you a solid case, and keyboard combination, but it does so with a little panache.

I recently put the LifeProof nüüd iPad case through its paces. This thing is possibly the most hardcore iPad case I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot of them. If you’re really serious about protecting your iPad from just about everything while still being able to use it, then chances are this is just what you’re looking for. The reason it is called the nüüd, is because this leaves your screen ‘nude’, with nothing between you and the screen. That means you get to retain visual clarity and a great touch experience without anything getting in the way. They really seem to want to maintain a great experience using your iPad and not get in your way. They even go so far as to channel the sound properly so the speaker doesn’t sound covered up and muffled. With that in mind it is amazing that they’re able to offer so much protection simultaneously. This case means you can take your iPad pretty much anywhere. It is waterproof up to two meters deep. It is also snow, ice, and dirt proof to IP-68 standards. It is even shock proof, being designed to military drop survivability specs for four feet.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is an interesting little gadget. It sits somewhere between a smartphone and a tablet and does so in such a wonderful way, it is a wonder there aren’t more products like it. To some it might seem like an oversized smartphone. To others they may think of it as a small tablet. Once you use it for a while you’ll see what a nice hybrid it really is, and how it fills a need you might not have known you had.
Kobo has recently unveiled it’s new eReader; the Kobo Aura HD. The device is already available for pre-order at Future Shop too! You may have tried other eReaders before but this is something different. It’s a premium, more luxurious experience. It differentiates itself from other eReaders with the most advanced, highest resolution, super large screen with a design more reminiscent of a book than a tablet, making it more comfortable to use and hold.

If you own a Kobo Arc tablet already, I’ve got some pretty good news for you. Your Kobo experience has now been optimized with Android 4.1, also known as Jelly Bean. Next time your Kobo connects to WiFi (if you haven’t already) your firmware will update and you’ll be ready to go on the latest Android operating system.
These days you can play video games on almost any gadget it seems. I’m a big gamer myself. I love console gaming, PC gaming, even mobile gaming. One of my favorites over the past year has been gaming on tablets. A lot of gamers don’t realize it yet, but tablets are fantastic for gaming. There are so many great games you can play on them - the formfactor means you can play virtually anywhere, they have nice big screens compared to smartphones, and the touch controls can facilitate some unique game-play mechanics.

Samsung’s Galaxy note lineup has been picking up steam as of late. It seems to have really struck a chord with its novel stance putting it somewhere between full-sized tablet and smartphone. They’ve just announced their latest model featuring an eight inch display and retaining the S Pen stylus and apps that made the note series popular in the first place.

These days hybrid mobile computing devices seem to be all the rage. We’re seeing a lot of interesting gadgets that blur the line between tablet and PC now. One of the more interesting options I’ve been able to check out this year is the Sony VAIO Duo 11.6” Touchscreen Ultrabook. Its not like any laptop I’ve ever used, or like any tablet. Its a great mobile companion for working on the go all while keeping things fun, convenient, and flexible.
