Who needs a kitchen when you can get a do-it-all fridge for a whopping $41,500? The Italian designers, Meneghini, created a fridge that does everything a kitchen can do, except for washing dishes. What? No dishwasher? Then that’s no deal for me.

It’s always important to appreciate the little things in life that make you happy. A group of scientist from the University of Tokyo believes that opening your refrigerator to grab something to eat or drink is a simple task that can make you smile without even thinking about it. Which is why they took it a step further by inventing the Happiness Counter device that is attached to your refrigerator to encourage smiling as well as maintaining a positive mind frame. Essentially, when you are heading to the refrigerator to grab a beer, if you are not smiling, the door will not open. The happiness counter will encourage you too smile (even if it’s a fake smile) before the door can be opened.

On my drive back from Kelowna, I stopped in Chilliwack to pick up a bag of fresh corn.  I love eating corn on the cob in the summertime, especially during a BBQ.

The good thing about corn is that it makes a perfect snack at home or in the office. How can you make it so that it’s fast and easy. All you need is your microwave. And it won’t sabotage the taste. Trust.
