The concept of a convertible is usually known as driving with the top down, and that can be one way to describe what a convertible PC is supposed to be. These are hybrids in the sense that you can use them as laptops or tablets, either by separating the screen from the keyboard or flipping it in one way or another to change the input and user experience. When the Sony VAIO Flip 14 landed on my desk I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I knew It was one of the new hybrid style machines that could be used as both a notebook PC or a tablet but I didn’t know too much beyond that. I’ve used hybrid style machines before but as soon as I took this one out of the box I could tell I was in for a treat. From the aluminum finish to the smooth feeling transformation, this machine just screams style and quality.

If you’re shopping for a new ultrabook you won’t want to miss the new Sony VAIO Touch Pro 13. This model definitely stands out from the pack. It's super light, thin and yet maintains great battery life. On top of all that it's visually striking and all done in typical Vaio high build quality, so it ought to last you a while.

Its a great mobile companion for working on the go all while keeping things fun, convenient, and flexible.

When netbooks were first brought to market, they were pushed as a computer for tweens. The smaller form factor and less powerful processing was pushed as a way to get kids their own computer at a lower cost. But the new Sony Vaio P isn't a netbook - at least that's what Sony wants to tell you.
