Finding a case for your tablet or eReader isn’t hard, but finding a really good one isn’t easy, either. Protection, portability and design are all important factors, of course, but when you also have something that fits almost anything, regardless of brand, you have a pretty good combination. Having a great keyboard case for your iPad is one of those things that’s easy to dismiss as something you don’t need. Once you try one out, however, you’ll find the convenience of having a full physical keyboard integrated into your iPad case something you don’t want to live without again. Review: StarTech USB docking station

by Blogger on ‎05-20-2013 08:02 AM

startech-usb-docking-station2135-580x358.jpg

If you’re looking for a simple docking station for your laptop or tablet, you might be disappointed to find that there is no solution available specifically for the model you’re looking for. Manufacturers don’t make docks for all devices after all. If your gear has a USB port, then you may be in luck, being able to have all the convenience of a dock, only needing to be plugged in via USB. I, for example, have a Surface Pro which has one USB port. With the StarTech USB docking station I simply plug it in to that USB port and instantly my display is extended to an external monitor, my headset is hooked up and ready to go, and I can take advantage of four USB ports for whatever I need. It turns that one available USB port on my gadget into four and eliminates the need for me to connect everything to my device one at a time. One plug to rule them all. Now when I sit down at my desk, I’m up and running with all my external peripherals in no time.
