I've recently had the opportunity to thoroughly test out 4 different toys from Crayola that were specifically designed to bring out the artist in kids of all ages. These toys are unlike anything I've ever had a chance to work with before, and on the whole they were really quite fun. They allowed me to create art of a much higher quality than I ever would have thought possible, and they did it in a way that was both fun and unique. Some really neat ideas here! No matter how you look at it the casual gaming market is getting bigger and is becoming one of the more sought after demographics in gaming. The mobile industry is basically a casual gaming battle ground fought by games like Candy Crush Saga, Clash of Clans, Game of War, Cut The Rope and the list goes on. One game that made a huge splash on the mobile market was Plants Vs Zombies by EA. A rather light hearted take on the tower defense genre, where one must protect their garden from the incoming waves of zombies. Now this was a good game for a more casual market but when EA showed off their latest instalment in the series, for the console market, Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, hardcore gamers started taking note and for a good reason. So lock and load that peashooter, its time to defend the garden!

The world of kids' toys nowadays is ever evolving: smart watches, tablets, robot dogs etc. It’s overwhelming. I wish for some simpler toys for my child, for toys that won’t blink or talk. That’s exactly why I got excited to review toys made by Melissa & Doug. I’m a big fan of their toys as they are mostly made out of wood, are great quality and are educational ... and definitely appeal to the part of me that wishes for the simpler times. Previously I was the one who decided what I purchased from Melissa & Doug. Today, I’m about to test three random toys, which I didn’t pick. Let’s see if Melissa & Doug toys still pass the test …
