Thanksgiving is one of my favourite holidays because it’s all about family, friends and food. Like most families my grandma is the head chef, but this year we were separated by an 8 hour time difference and thousands of kilometers.
Prepping the turkey and setting the table didn’t feel quite the same without her so to bring the family together I grabbed my LifeCam Studio and had a Skype call with her in the middle of the kitchen! It was awesome – we got to see how she was celebrating, and have some banter about who makes the best turkey (I didn’t win that battle). What’s amazing is Microsoft webcams are plug & play, so it’s as easy for my grandma to use as it was for me! It didn’t matter that we had candles lighting up the table, True Color adjusted the lighting perfectly, and ultimately it was the closest thing to being together for the holidays!
