Thank you for the good memories

There comes a time in life where an exciting new opportunity comes and change is inevitable. I am sad to announce that I will be leaving my position at Future Shop effective next friday Apr 13. I have an exciting new opportunity come up elsewhere and made the tough choice to leave Future Shop.

 

I have been with Future Shop for the past 7 years and loved every moment of it. Over the past 2 years, I have built a great relationship with the online community (via social media or the FS forum). The feedback that we receive are priceless as it gives us first hand insight from a customer's perspective. From your suggestions/ideas, we have created great pre-order offers (SteelBooks), Used game offers (Used Game Wednesday), and Trade in offers.

 

The support/feedback that we received from everyone has been greatly appreciated. I will try to continue to post on this forum but as a customer instead of an employee. This is a great online community and hope everyone will continue to contribute and provide suggestion/ideas.

Say it ain't so, Godwin!

 

Sorry to see you go as you have been a great interface for Future Shop to the online community, especially for us gamers!  I hope Future Shop recognizes that the online community needs a strong presence from Future Shop employees.  Otherwise, there isn't much to distinguish it from a hundred other online forums about movies and games, etc.

 

Getting feedback from FS employees inspires more people to read and participate.  Otherwise the forums would go stale.

 

The next person in your job has big shoes to fill!

 

Best of luck on your next career step.  Like everyone else has said, I should still expect you to be in the forums from time to time.  With the Internet today, there is really no excuse not to!:smileywink:
