Furthermore, even though they give you a number, each Future Shop has different inventory and some will simply not accept any more copies of a specific title because they have reached their quota. So it doesn't matter what the TIV list tells you, your local FS may give you $0 for your game.
This has never happened to me, and I have never heard of it happening either. Sure it might of happened at your store, but I would bet it's an extremely rare event. Not even worth noting really.
