They all use the same end design to fit a standard HDMI slot. The HDMI cable version may be a consideration to watch out for as version 1.3 and 1.4 have more cabability than the 1.1 and 1.2 versions. As an example version 1.3 will support deep color and would be used with version 1.3 A/V Receivers. Version 1.4 will be used with the newer 3D HDTV's comming out along with the newer 1.4 version A/V Receivers.

HDMI cables are the same size. They only differ by speed (GBPS- GigaBytes Per Second) and version (1.3a/b/c 1.4, etc.). Higher HDMI versions can support higher speeds and additional features (as mentioned above, Deep Color and 3D TV support.
