Re: Energy RC-LCR pricing

OK, now that i had added it up here I think something is wrong....The salesperson showed me at the computer what the discounts were and all the stuff that was added in.

It was the Harman Kardon AVR 3600 which is regular $1399 and was on sale for $1199 without any discount from the salesperson. With it at $1199 before GST, I had a 5yr warranty on it and with the RC-LCR's at $749 a piece, (3 of them for my three front speakers) and a 9yr warranty on one of them. With that all added up and GST included it was $3864. This was what the total was on the computer when he showed it to me. From what he said I assumed that the total was $3864 because of what he was showing me on the computer and I had not heard any different number form him. He said that I was getting around $700-750 off with a package deal. So i thought the total was like around $4600 and my package deal was now at $3864. But I suppose it was probably more like $3864 total and then take off the $750 for the package deal. So im thinking that the package deal was more like $3114, but the way he went about it I was under the impression it was $3864.

Maybe I misunderstood but $3864 was the final total at the computer when he showed it to me after we talked about the deal. So if it is really $3114 package deal is that a little better price? What do the RC-LCR's usually go on sale for? Could I get them cheaper if I wait for a sale?

They also have RC-Mini's which are much cheaper. I know the LCR's would play deeper and probably sound "bigger", but would these two speakers be comparable in sound quality since they are both from the RC lines?
