Only HDTVs that are specifically labelled as being "3D Ready" will support this new technology since the TV's entire display system needs to be designed to support it. To the best of my knowledge, the most complete list of "3D Ready" TVs and monitors currently available can be found at http://www.3dmovielist.com/3dhdtvs.html

To view 3D, aside from 3D glasses, would you not need this set paired with that Samsung monitor?

I remember reading somewhere the Sony PS3 is 3D ready. I have no objections to wearing googles to get the effects.
