Thats interesting how it looks like the way 3D tvs work is by having shutter glasses and a HDTV that is capable of processing frame rates at 120Hz+. How do you explain to someone who just bought a 120Hz+ HDTV in 2008 or 2009 that their tv though it fits the spec is not compatible. It should be an easy fix for the TV manufactures to update the tvs firmware to allow the sync device be be plugged into the USB port of the tv to sync with the glasses and there you go working 3D TV. I mean Sony's Playstation 3 is coming out with firmware to allow 3D on existing hardware... But this is how the industry works. Now people have to pay money all over again to get the same thing people already have. So I'd like if someone can explain why a 240Hz LCD HDTV bought in 2009 is not 3D compaible with current 3D tvs which also do 120/240Hz.
