Hi. Thanks for the info. Very usefull since I am about to purchase SIX new appliances.  I am definately looking at the Samsung products, they are really nice.  I do agree that you need the extended warranty for sure.  I bought a new Samsung 55" LCD TV just before the Olympics and I love it.
