Neon Switch

Hello everybody, I am in dire need of your help!

Here's my problem,

I have a 1996 Honda Civic Dx 2 dr coupe. I am installing four 10' neon lights. I want to run them to a switch, so I can turn them off whenever i need to, because they're illegal where i live! So here's the thing. I ran the negative wires from the neon sticks to one 12 awg wire, which i mounted to the frame. I then ran all the positive wires from the neon to the ACC post on the back of the switch. I then ran a wire from the battery, to the Power post on the back of the switch. Lastly, I ran a ground wire from the frame to the Ground post on the back of the switch. The switch lit up, but when i flipped it on, the lights didn't come on. So i switched it off, and the light on the switch was still on! I don't know what I did wrong! Please please help, this is driving me crazy!
