Yes and no. There is a product called Power Mat available and that's the sort of product you're looking for:
From what I understand, it uses a small adapter that allows for the wireless transfer of power from the mat to the device. It is not compatible with all devices, but it is compatible with many. It also has USB ports for wired charging of your legacy devices that are not directly compatible with the Power Mat.
