Do others need to find and change the APN setting when using SIM cards from other countries?
Sometimes the APN setting is embedded within the SIM and gets picked up automatically when the phone is powered up for the first time. (For example, Chatr SIMs have Rogers APN settings embedded, even though Chatr does not provide data services at the moment.) Others providers may not embed APN settings in the SIM, so you will have to manually enter it within the phone settings.
