Fear not!  You can look at this thread and it contains an older post from me that contains a link to the chart that will be able to answer your question.  If Band Hero does not show up on the chart, Guitar Hero 5 is the base model for where Band Hero came from, so if the RB game is compatible with GH5 hardware, then it will work with Band Hero hardware as well.
