Thanks to everyone for your help!

I figured out that I needed to run an audio cable from either the TV or Cable box to the Receiver.  I did that using an analog cable (2-color pair).  I find the sound is not that loud.  When I run my IPod off the HTB it is much louder.  I am wondering if I change for a digital optical audio cable, if it will sound better and louder. Any comments?
