My system: 42" Sony Bravia, Shaw PVR, combo Toshiba SD-V395KC DVD/VCR, all bought from FShop.

Everything is cabled as instructed by your cabling sales person in the Victoria store, using component cxn to the TV, HDMI from PVR to TV

The DVD shows up on Video 5 just fine. The VCR doesn't, though the TV is set to Ch 3. Can't see my old VCR movies, can't record. When I switch from DVD to VCR, the DVD screen remains on.

What's the answer?
