To apply for your Windows 7 Upgrade, go to this page. Find your computer's manufacturer in the list, and note if you need your original receipt or if you need to pay shipping. From there, click on the upgrade link that corresponds to your computer's manufacturer, and follow their instructions on their website to give them your information and order your copy of Windows 7.

When you purchased your Gateway Desktop Did you apply for the free copy of the software?

Choose the proper Brand, Provide the Serial number and proof of Purchase,
then you will recieve the copy of Windows 7.

As a sidenote, prior to getting the installation of your new operating system completed I would recommend getting a WIndows 7 Upgrade Advisor service completed on your unit. It can identify many possible problems before they occur. This service can be done by a certified ConnectPro Online Support Expert, in the comfort of your own home. It's always best if a clean install is completed when upgrading to a new version of windows, if not, you could be carrying over problems that may or may not be present in your current configuration.
