"does this work for all notebooks?"

Hehehe... I sure hope so.  The only real exception I know of is the MacBook Air, but I haven't played around enough with other Macs to say one way or another for sure.  I'm also pretty sure that most PC laptops follow a similar procedure.   If not, I'm sure someone will ask or say something!

 

What do you think?  This is my second attempt at these videos, and I tell you, it's not as easy as it seems (I think this one took around 25 takes because I kept screwing up what I wanted to say! - I wrote a bit of a script for the RAM video, so that one took less takes - around 15 or so).

My battery is pretty much the same.

Thanks Snapshot!  You'd be surprised how many people aren't sure how to do this (I'd had several friends with laptops ask me how to remove their battery), hence why I created the video.
