my laptop run very slow,,,iwant to chage the memory ram,,now is 512 each,,has 2...if i replace those,i have to change both or i can replace for now only one??

Thanks for posting,

 

 You only have to replace one of those sticks at a time, though if they are slower than the ram you are installing than you're best bet is to either replace both, or simply remove one so that you only have the new stick of memory installed.

If you haven't cleaned your computer up a bit lately, that may be the culprit in your slow computer.
