I was wondering what the return dates and times are on the Apple iPads, I know computers are 14 days for returns and iPods are 30 days for returns, however I think iPad is more like an iPod so is it 30 days too or is still just 14 days?

Why aren't iPods under the same category then, not sure about the iPod touches but they seem to be almost the same thing?

Hi,

With the 3G iPads offering wireless plans with cellphone companies on their networks, it has broken the barrier of what stopped an MP3 player like the iPods from being used as phones, computer replacements and so on. It's similar to how we market the iPhone as a cellphone instead of an Mp3 player like it's cousin the iPod Touch.

What about the non 3G models, I'm not trying to be awkward I'm just trying to find out and understand why and to also help with understanding returns dates and times for other things in the future?

The WiFi models are lopped into the same category as the 3G models.

No worries, this forum is here to help answer questions on both products and policy! It's understandable that when new devices which use components from many existing electronics hits the scene, not many know what to categorize it as if not making a new category all together.

No, I understand, I just don't understand why its considered more of a phone, when its a lot closer to an iPod and iPod Touch, which have 30 days to return it.
