iPod, MP3 Players, Headphones & Speaker Docks

Hi my son chipped the corner of his ipod.. can this be sent out to be fixed..if so where would i bring it to the store and then would you send it out..

Is it just cosmetic?  Is the screen damaged?

Have you considered a case to cover up the damage?  Personally, I prefer a protective skin to keep the device slim.

There are places that can have the damage repainted, but it's not cheap.

I'd have to agree with XL on this one.

Unless the systems performance has been adversely affected you are by far better off to use a skin to cover the damage.  The potential costs invovled of swapping out a chasis can easily exceed the costs of replacing the unit outright so if the damages are strictly cosmetic the cost effective solution is to use a cover.
