An zune is just as good as a iPod and it has more features. FM radio(buy songs over the air), wireless sync, wi-fi music download.

Personally I like the Zune, it's got a huge screen and some nice features, but it's hard to leave the Cover Flow and the click wheel of the iPod.

The only real advantage iPod has over Zune is that the Zune and iPod have the same resolution, but the screen size is soooooooooo much bigger. This makes the PPI on the Zune lower, making the images look lower quality.

Really, it's a size vs. distance thing, and in this case, it's easier to watch a movie on the iPod. But with a couple friends, you'd move it back a foot more, and then it'd look better than the iPod.

Me, I'd spend a little cash and get the Archos.

if you like to listen to music and here all of the instruments playing go with the zune, the ipod does not have good quality sound, but the ipod touch is alot of fun

to play with,  but also if you are looking at a player that has unbelievable sound go with the samsung Q1 it has the dnse 3.0 and eq and many other sound features

or wait and get the samsung p3, match it up with some sennheiser cx300 headphones and it will blow you away.
