Extended Warranties

Will Futureshop honour your warranty after you have replaced a product once already? I had to replace a media player right after purchasing it because of a dislodged button, and now that my player is not working properly, will my repair be covered? I have a 3 yr extended warranty until June 2011. I have read the conditions, and they seem a bit confusing. I assume that the first year that I took the first one back, would be under the menufacturers warranty(although Future Shop exchanged it at the store). The info in the extended warranty conditions seems to say that the warranty becomes fullfilled after you use it.(Even so, I should be still elligeable because my extended warranty did not start until the year after I purchased?

Re: Extended Warranties

If your item was replaced within the initial return/exchange time period, then you will still be covered under the PSP or PRP that you purchased with the product.  However, if your product was replaced using the PSP or PRP, then you would need to purchase a new PSP or PRP to go along with the new product.

This is all something that would be told to you when the exchange happened, and you would have to sign a few different things before the replacement were to happen, if it was done under the PSP or PRP.

It sounds like it was simply an over-the-counter exchange, so you should still be covered.
