Auto-suggest helps you quickly narrow down your search results by suggesting possible matches as you type.
Unfortunately, that's not how the process works. There have been times where Future Shop has had promotions where you could trade in old iPods and mp3 players to get credit toward the purchase of a new iPod, though I can't find anything about whether a promotion like that is still going on.
After the return period on an item is over, there is no way to return it or trade it on for a new item or refund. The best hope you have is, as I mentioned above, to trade it in during a promotion such as the one I talked about.
