Generally, Futureshop does not do any repairs unless you brought the product service plan during the time of purchase. As for Ipods, I believe a replacement plan would be offered during the time of purchase....where you would get the amount+tax you paid back on a giftcard (Please note that, any physical or water damage would void the warrenty).

What's wrong with the screen? Is it a defect or physical damage?
If it's not something covered by warranty, I recommend visiting a local service depot. Sometimes repairs are cheaper than buying new.
